Welcome to my e-space… My name is Mohamed Taha AbedRaboo.

I am bilingual speaker of Arabic and English; a native speaker of Arabic Language and academically qualified linguist.  Currently, I work as an independent English <> Arabic language service provider. This includes translation, proofreading, subtitling, and other related  language services. I have eleven years’ solid experience and extended cooperation with many leading regional and worldwide translation agencies in several fields with special focus on the fields of technical, automotive, legal, financial and medical translation, areas of media marketing, websites translation besides several published translated books, articles and literary works. I am also a proz certified member, winner of Proz.com Translation contest 2020 and a member of American Translators Association.  Besides, I am a trainer, certified and expert user of CAT Tools and related software packages.

My view of linguistic services is combining the linguistic, academic knowledge with practical practitioner’s experiences. Thus, I am pursing highly qualifying postgraduate specialized studies in both Translation Studies and Computational Linguistics. I am a holder of two postgraduate diploma in Translation and Applied linguistics and currently a Translation Studies MA researcher. In relation to my academic background, I have extended expertise in cultural trans-creation besides three published translated books and articles on popularizing science, philosophy of science and philosophy of language.
